Lúnasa

The air feels thicker as the light begins turning to honey. Peaches are heavy on the branch, and the Earth begins offering up her first harvest.

The

First Harvest

Lúnasa, also called Lammas or Lughnasadh, marks the August 1st Celtic first harvest and honors Earth Goddess Tailtiu, inviting seven weeks of gratitude and reflection as summer turns to autumn.

as we walk through the Golden Gateway of Lúnasa. For the next seven weeks, we are gathering, tasting, and honoring how far we’ve grown. Looking at what we’ve created & built, and allowing ourselves to simply exist in the presence of our own gratitude.

Around the Wheel

In this time we all decided to incarnate into together, we have been taught to live as if life is on a straight line. A continuous, endless push forward. But the body knows better. The Earth knows better. Here, we move with the Wheel of the Year and our Seasons of Being. We honor the truth that energy expands, peaks, ripens, sheds, and rests in an unbroken, intelligent loop. Since the Summer Solstice & Litha on June 21st, we have been swimming in the Summer of Radiance—a time of high heat, outward expansion, expression, and relentless growth. And as the wheel slowly turns through August, the frequency & light begins to slowly change. It is the turning point on the Earth’s wheel, where Summer’s golden heat begins to meet the very first whispers of Autumn.
